Can't make it up
Sep. 12th, 2008 03:34 pmMy Boss and I are working on a link-building strategy where we use google alerts to locate blog posts relevant to Boss' practice. He can go out, comment, leave our website address, and eventually we have a little cracker trail of "advertising." Though the whole point is to be relevant - not to spam or make a pest of yourself or traditionally advertise. Rather, you participate in a useful, helpful, relevant way, and get attention because what you said was useful, funny, whatever. The idea is to make people want to come to you, not get pissed that you showed up. Anyway.
Scouting my google alerts today, I hit on this gem.

- Season Tickets and Divorce
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I told my wife of 18 years that I could no longer live a lie and that I am leaving her for another wvu fan who is also a man. We have 6 tickets on the 45 yard line. My wife is a biggeer WVU fan than me. We are going to have to decide how to manage these tickets. Any ideas? Your prayers would be appreciated.
