Oil exeuctives and regulatory department bureaucrats

With the recent news about oil industry "representatives" bribing energy department bureaucrats with "sex," I am having several purient thoughts, leading to a few salicious questions.



First, those must be some pretty hot oil industry "representatives" to be able to offer sex as a bribe. (Or some pretty sex starved bureaucrats.) And note, they don't say that they brought in hookers as a bribe. They were apparently doing the sexin' up close and personal. Of course, maybe "representatives" means oil industry "college interns." Yeah. You could imagine a buff, built geology grad student being a fair bribe.

Next, and I hope I don't sound sexist here, I assume that the people being bribed with sex were probably male. Because first, I bet oil regulating employes of the Bush administration are mostly male (though I would be happy to find out they were not!) and also the type of person to be interested in a bribe of sex is probably going to be a male person (unless that geology grad student was *really* cute). So. We come back to who tehse oil industry "representatives" probably were. Because in my experience, MOST of the geology grad students I knew were male. Though certainly not all. And oil executives - well. Again, I hope I don't sound sexist when I say, in my ignorance of any actual facts, that I bet they are mostly male.

So, I guess where I've gotten to in my purient thoughts, is kind of an icky place. Were these oil industry representatives and energy department bureaucrats a bunch of balding, late middle aged, dunlopped-diseased guys bonking each other over access to government property for energy exploitation?!?!?! CURSE MY SLASHER'S BRAIN!!!!! It is creating a big bureaucratic gay sex orgy inside my head!!!!! *takes drugs to block the images*

Yeah. NPR and WSJ both. Though WSJ (or was it NPR) suggested it was a single "brief sexual encounter." I guess a blow job's a blow job's a blow job...
