Stargate blah blah
Jul. 16th, 2005 08:26 amGREAT Stargate moment.
Jack is, of course, a huge Simpsons fan.
This is funny because... He is McGyver. *snickers*
So, in one of their time travel paradox episodes, alternate-universe Jack owns a boat named Homer. So you know they are thinking in Simpsons mode.
And at the end, when they've successfully "fixed" the screwed up timeline, Jack and Sam are fishing in his lake.
And a fish leaps out.
Sam and Jack are both mildly surprised by this.
Jack says, "Close enough."
Remember the Halloween when Homer turns the toaster into a time travel device. At the end, he finally fixes his timeline, but the family has the weird frog tongues.
Homer says...
"Close enough."
*sighs in bliss*
I love Stargate. Also The Simpsons. Also Jack. Miss Jack.
*is happy and sad*
