muck_a_luckLast night made Rainbow Cake and potato rolls. Was disappointed, because the rolls got singed, but this morning realized that it was v. easy just to slice off the bottoms, and they were perfect! Well, still not quite as good as Mom's. Needed to let them rise a little longer to get that wonderful alcoholic quality... But probably the best I've ever made, apart from the bottoms.
Tonight, worked out - Thighs of Steel. Man, that's gonna sting tomorrow.
In work news, the last of the bills hit the mail today. Delayed by illness, but out, nonetheless.
Interviewed my first pet candidate today. Not sure. The guy didn't really seem right to either myself or The Boss. Have another pet candidate coming in on Friday. Will decide the next move then.
In other news, not sick! Go me! How long does it take this virus to incubate, anyway?!
