Hope I haven't done myself a mischief.

Was almost frighteningly flexible for this evening's yoga practice.

Skipped Camel and Upward Bow because of lame shoulder.

However, Wide Angle Forward Bend was amazing! Head on the floor! So awesome.

In the seated version of this, came very close to forehead on the floor. And I have never done such deep One Legged Forward Bends. Leg grounded. Forehead to the floor.

I am quite concerned that I'm gonna pay for this in the morning. But for now, totally psyched.

And they are so right about forward bends "calming the nervous system." So soothing.

Jump back and forward was so easy today, I was actually looking forward to them.

And what says yoga more than Pyramid pose, with hands in namastay behind your back? Full Lotus, I guess. Which I attempted this evening and failed, sad to say. Half Lotus for me, still. But my other favorite thing. Forward Bend over Half Lotus. Bliss...

And now, food and bed.

Woot! Congrats... it feels so nice when you can do that, doesn't it? The set I'm currently doing doesn't have much in the way of bending, but there is a nasty bit where, from Plank pose, you raise and lower your butt, in rythym with Breath of Fire (3 minutes), and then flip on to your stomach and raise into Cobra and back down with Breath of Fire for 1.5 minutes. Bleah. I think I'd rather be doing your set. But we'll see--at the moment I'm at 1.5 minutes with the Plank variation, and hopefully by the time the 40 days are over (we do 40-day sets) I'll make it up to 2 minutes! *grin*

And wow, I can actually grab my toes in forward bend, without my knees lifting, and if I'm feeling especially flexible, can touch my chin to my knee. Yay!

*grin* Ummm...yoga geekness. Eek.

I am oozing with jealously over you and your classes! Husband keeps making noises about joining a gym. If we ever do, me and yoga class. I am SO there...
