4 Hobbits Walk Into a Bar from Premiere. Good article. Funny opening piece. Hmmmm.
Mostly, this weekend made me feel like I need a new brain. Left the groceries again, but this time, not at the Safeway, 4 minutes from the house. At Shoppers', all the way in Sterling. Left them there, drove to Harris Teeter, picked up the scallops and a few other specialty items, went back out to the car, put the two Teeter store bags in the trunk and realized that there were no groceries. Happily, the grocery honor system did not break down and it was a cold day. But I'm really beginning to doubt my sanity over this. If I go down with mad cow, we can all say the first indication was my problem remembering the groceries.
Also, sobbed over Lost In Translation. If I'd known ahead of time that it was *that* kind of movie, I might have skipped it. But it was very good. And eerily alienating. Just watching it I felt lonely.
Made an excellent pot roast on Saturday. But the much anticipated scallops were a big disappointment. Oh, well. Win some and lose some.
