The Weather Report

It is 14 degrees here today. With windchill, temperature feels like 0.

My hands are so dry they are cracking and bleeding. I am now off to search for lotion.

To the weather, I would also like to say, fuck off.

And if I also could extend that sentiment to the Fairfax County Schools...

Definitely need lots of lotion in this kinda cold! Hmm, wonder if lotion can be microwaved to make it warm first.

I think I would like to make some instant oatmeal right now... and pour it down my sweater. Yay!

It was minus one here for my morning drive in to work. Blah.

Life in Michigan

Well, you expect that kind of thing in MI. The first winter I was in Ann Arbor, there was a week when it did not get above 0, and of course months when it didn't crack freezing. I remember going to work at windchill -60.

And actually, we should get a couple of weeks like this one here. This is just coming right off a week of 70 degree days, and I'm sick, and whiney, and I hate cold weather so blah, right back at ya. Hmmm. Oatmeal in the sweater? Let me know how that works out for you! :)
