Day off, sort of

muck_a_luckWell, the day care is closed today and apparently the roads are a huge mess. Plus, strom warning for this afternoon with freezing rain expected.
I decided that discretion was clearly the better part of valor and decided to stay home today. The Small Boy is raring to go on the rest of the cast commentary for TTT. Who am I to argue! :)

Date: 2004-01-27 04:39 pm (UTC)We've been expecting snow storms for two days now. In fact, by now, snow storms from Canada were supposed to have caused havoc here.
They're late!!
My parents have rushed out to buy two oil fired heaters, in case the temperature drops as has been predicted, and keep ringing us to ask how deep the snow is!
THERE IS NO SNOW!!!!!!
There have been snow falls around the glen - south of Inverness, over towards Nairn, and out to the west, but nothing here. We even drove through a snow flurry on our way home this afternoon, but by the time we got to the end of the glen, no snow, and it's warmer here than in Inverness, and damp, so little flurries won't even lie!
So much for the weather forecast of doom!!

Was over at your Mom's journal, and had a terrible urge to say hello. But being v. good and *did not.* She's definitely got the idea, though. Go U's Mom! :)

Chatted with her yesterday (on the phone) and talked her through comments, and how she has to reply to my comment, rather than posting a new comment herself. She then said that she kept going over to my journal, and there was very rarely anything new posted! She's telljng me off already and she's only been here a few weeks.
All good, though, as she has got def. got the bug!!
