Architeuthis update

muck_a_luckIt's been a long time since I posted about my dear friend, Architeuthis.
Last night, I loaded up the rest of the Christmas music and made a Christmas playlist. Cellmate loves Christmas music, but we have a strict Thanksgiving to Christmas policy - reflecting mutually shared aversion to Christmas music out of season. Gonna find out this afternoon if she's feeling festive. :)
Then, it's been about 20 key albums since I did a regular playlist, so a did a December Random list that includes U2, Loreena McKinnit, Ziggy Marley, et al who were not loaded up the last round.
Architeuthis was so fab in the car to Lynchberg. The radio transmitter doesn't work unless you are in the middle of BFE nowhere, but luckily, that trip goes right through the heart of BFE, so we had great sound quality and about 5 hours of battery. Small Boy got his Dirt Band and The Fellowship soundtrack. I just put on a playlist and sang along.
And yet again, I am thrilled to pieces that nobody else in my family had the patience for him. It was great! :) *kisses Architeuthis all over his LCD screen*
