OK. I think we may have found that I have reached the insanity point.

I was working in the kitchen last night and feeling tense in my back and did a standing backbend.

And thought, you know, it's doable. I could actually imagine it.

I do standing backbends (unassisted, obviously) to pop my lower back. It's not to the floor, or anything, but it's a good percent over.

I don't suppose you can practice it *over* something. Maybe practice on the stairs. The higher the stair, the less you have to bend, and then the more you get comfortable, you can move down a stair? I'm just guessing here :)
