The Weekend in Review

muck_a_luckSaturday, I was not good company. Everything was making me cross. I thought if I heard one more "Mommmmmyyyy...." or "[Naaammme Reedaaacteddd]....." I would go insane. Also, had to take another bath. Ugh. I hate baths. Was plotting my revenge if the shower didn't get fixed on Monday because of the weather.
Sunday was much nicer.
Plumber, against whom I had been plotting my revenge, came and fixed the shower in anticipation of the snow. Yay! [Though later learned that new showerhead installed by twerpy apartment maintenance guy is terrible *and* cannot be removed. I have called and left spiteful message on realty office answering machine.]
We went out for Chinese and The Small Boy actually gave several things a chance and appeared to actually like the Sweet and Sour Chicken. I, however, ate too much and was miserable the rest of the day. [Complete lack of self-restraint at the buffet. *snortle*]
After lunch we went and got ourselves a 5-disk DVD player. V. cool.
Celebrated the new player by watching Upright Citizen's Brigade. *That* was fun! They are incredibly funny and so, so sick! "Time Machine" was particularly good. Also, liked "Bucket of Truth" when we watched it the other day. Also, we watched some Zena. Always to see chicks kicking ass.
Not too thrilling, but a nice day, anyway.
