Did something yesterday morning that just killed the right side of my neck and part of my right shoulder. So skipped any kind of workout today. Back to the grind tomorrow.
On the plus side, am guilt-ridden for skipping a day, after getting in *both* days this weekend. A good sign that the habit is developing nicely.
Hmmmm. Today not yet a total wash. If feeling better this afternoon, can work out while Husband is doing his overtime.
McKay did not have ANY interesting exercise videos, much less DVDs. So, feeling free to shop Amazon with abandon. Actually, have not bought anything yet. But have growing wish-list. Am heartbroken that cannot get Arms and Abs of Steel 2000 in DVD form. But then realized, duh, you know, nobody's gonna get the film of an exercise video and convert it to a nice DVD with extras... *rolls eyes at self* Also sad that the yoga fusion thing I have out from the library doesn't look like DVD material either. But that's OK. Found some other good stuff. And Tammilee Webb has a couple of "Of Steel" type thingies that may be actually taking advantage of the DVD format. She's done them with 6 15 minute segments each, focusing on different areas of the body. So you could pick your fav abs, arms, and thighs routines, and splice them together into the workout you want to do. Could be really cool.
Also, have warned Husband that later in October I will want to go on clothes buying expedition. Comments about shopping made in last entry aside, I actually have a vision of an outfit I want. And Karlise, the old roomie, faints dead away! C-Not-A-Slave-To-Fashion-K does not imagine outfits! Amazing what changing body image will do for you...
