Oh-DIN? The All-Father?!?! TONY STARK?!!!!

The Barbarian is very scornful of the boys in her class who like superheroes.

She was making NO SENSE as she explained it to me, but I detect she has been in some kind of dispute with them. What I got from it was a) they don't get that superheroes can be funny b) "Odin! Oh-DIN!?! The All-Father?!?!?!" and c) [stated with GREAT EXASPERATION] "TONY STARK?!?!"

So. I'm not sure, but she's certainly a fangirl with strong, if unintelligible, opinions. Plus, the boys are all going to be jealous that she's watching BOTH Iron Man Armored Adventures AND Justice League!

Iron Man Armored Adventures

Enjoyed my first look this morning at Armored Adventures. It's a high school AU, in a world where Tony was close to his father who was never an arms manufacturer, only a technology mogul who liked to have a friendly mad-scientist/inventor rivalry with his brilliant son. Howard is murdered, and his father's instructions about Tony's care in the event of Howard's death is that Rhodey's mom should be his guardian, and Tony should go to normal high school like a normal boy.

In one episode I have already seen:
1) Tony decide high school might not be so bad because there are hot chicks there.
2) Tony instruct a master class in physics for his science teacher.
3) Tony solve the "hardest equation" that his math teacher was writing on the white board on the first day of class to impress all the students. (Answer, 42. *snorts*)
4) Tony driving Rhodey crazy. "Tell me I'm not going to see you on the news again." "Not if you don't watch it!" Tony WINKS AT HIM! Rhodey does not know how doomed he is.
5) Tony taunting the media.
6) Tony inventing a GIANT ROBOT WITH LAZERS. :D
7) Tony memorizing all his text books.

The kids are delighted particularly with Pepper, who, rather than being "the voice of reason" is in fact "completley insane," to quote AG33.

Rhodey seems like a good friend. Pepper seems like a lot of fun. Haven't had a chance yet to form much opinion of Tony's frenemy, Gene Khan. I'm sure we'll love to hate Obidiah Stane.
