Yes, WE SEE YOU being a jerk
Jul. 2nd, 2010 08:23 amI just left a note on the car of a person in the garage. They had parked across TWO spaces RIGHT by the elevators!!!! To protect their pretty new car from other people's doors, I'm sure. They'll be lucky not to get keyed for their trouble. In the elevator on the way down there with my note and tape, I realized it would be REALLY ANNOYING for me to tape it to their windshield, so I reversed the tape so the message faced in and slapped it right in the driver's field of vision.
Jerk.
I plan to come in armed Tuesday with tape and paper. I'll stick another note on them on the way in. Save me a trip up and down the elevators.
People should know that other people SEE WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND THINK THEY ARE JERKS.
However. I will not damage their car. Just stick annoying notes all over it. Maybe next time I will put the note under the passenger side windshield wiper, so they don't notice it til it rains. :D *iz ev0l*
Gah. What will I be like by the time I'm old and retired?
UPDATE: So. Should I retract my nastygram? It is the Friday before a long weekend and the garage is EMPTY. NOBODY is parked anywhere near this car, despite the fact that it is parked in a prime location. So. Contextually the person is NOT being a jerk today, because there's nobody in the building. Consulting Cellmate, she thinks it is "wildly rude" to park like that, but that today she might have given the person "a break." But she also feels that if I don't feel like going and retrieving my note, the person still deserves the note.
In an aside, HAHA! When I described the scenario to her she said, "It makes me just want to..." and she made a scraping sound and mimed dragging her keys across the side of the person's car. Vindication! *snickers*
