I went out yesterday to the store and The Barbarian insisted on staying home with her boys.
While I was gone, she told Husband she needed to go potty, then proceeded to refuse to put her pants back on.
You should hear her crow, "I NAY-KID!" which is almost always followed by her tearing away from you.
Usually, this is something that happens around bedtime, upstairs with Mommy in charge. Mommy lets the naked Barbarian run amok for a while, then pajamas go on. If The Barbarian touches body parts that most people don't mention in mixed company, well, that's what being two is about - self-discovery, learning about new things. And plus, all the developmental people say not to call undo attention to that, as it will only encourage incorragable two-year-olds to do it more.
So, Husband decides to let the naked Barbarian run free.
Until the touching gets a little lewd.
THEN he decides that naked time is over and tries to get her to get dressed.
That's when the fun began, apparently.
At one point, he says to AG33, "No wonder Mommy's angry all the time."
*snerks*
Because the Barbarian is three feet of feisty, and when she decides she doesn't want to put her pants on, well, the only way to force her is to do her bodily injury, which is not what you are really trying to achieve.
Have I said already that I think I'm ready for her to not be two anymore?
