Don't cheat on your spouse.

Don't go on e-bay and buy things for your paramour.

Don't sleep around and don't keep gifts from your paramour, even correspondence, where your spouse might find it.

You'll save yourself a lot of time, money, and trouble. Believe me. If you really must sleep with someone else, or if you feel it's time for a new romance, do yourself a favor and get divorced first.

And if you are too stupid to take that advice, then you should consider it your own damned fault if you end up paying through the nose. Your lawyer will do what he or she can, but you may end up s*** creek with a very tiny flyswatter for a paddle.
