Morning entry
Aug. 20th, 2004 08:10 amA couple of days ago, Boss wanted to know, if Architeuthis was connected via USB cable, whether it would be a network drive accessable by him from his office.
I tested that this morning. The network hated that idea, but, in the process, I realized that, duh, I can convert discs to MP3 at the office. Which would not be nearly as disruptive as it sounds. It is a completely quiet process, and takes about 1 minute of my attention per CD. I am contemplating doing the discs that I keep in the office while in the office.
But not today. Today, I am backing up my entire documents folder to CD. I have to do this across the network, as our only burner is on the Boss' computer. I expect my computer's brain will be busy enough without other weird activities going on.
However, I will probably actually (gasp) *delete* some ancient client files from my computer today, which should make my computer much happier, and make space for me to install a tiny bit of personal software...
