Re-read "But the Night Must Fall" (link in fic recs, above), this morning, and am now in a mood.

I even put on Jimmy Buffet to try to mellow out.

It just sounds melancholy to me - Wonder Why We Never Go Home, It's Been A Lovely Cruise, Tampico Trauma, Biloxi... Not helping...

Shouldn't read death!fic. Even happy-ending!deaath-fic. Makes me all weird.

Just burned my mouth on cocoa.

OK! Am now royally, monumentally pissed off!

Just put in the first disk of the second season of Alias.

Watched the Hidalgo trailer. Skipped the Pirates trailer. And they showed a teaser for season 3 of Alias, which I watched by accident.

Which was a 60 second recap of, yes SEASON 2. Which I haven't even seen one episode of. This is the freakin' first disk, dammit! ABSOLUTELY FULL of spoilers for season 2! Lord help me, I think I now know every freakin' plot twist they're gonna give us. So, what's that? 22 40 minute episodes almost completely ruined?!

Bastards. I have half a mind to stop watching the whole thing and never look at it again and they can take their season 3 and stick it.

I am so pissed.

Tomorrow

Hectic day tomorrow.

Sufei left today. So am babysitting TKC until she gets back. Need to check every day for faxes, mail, etc., particularly 24-hour jobs. Couldn't get over there this evening, so am going to get up early, do my hour for The Boss, then roust The Small Boy out of bed and take him over to Sufei's for his breakfast and George Shrinks. Sufie says there is one Russian for me, "an old one." I am so out of practice at this. I dread trying to draft anything.

Meanwhile, will have to leave work *early* to pick up Husband from the dentist.

Am doing tomorrow's document production this evening, in an attempt to forestall a major hissing tizzy at work tomorrow. Hoping the thing can hit the messenger as soon as The Boss is back from the Commissioner in Chancery to sign the Notice of Service...

Good grief. Already spazzing about tomorrow.

Guh. I hate it when Sufei leaves town. She has forbidden me to move, you know. Well, at least she didn't leave me in charge of the turtles...

Guh times two. I hate doing discovery. This is the reason I dread the idea of being a high level paralegal in a big firm, my next obvious career move. Because big firm means big discovery and there is *nothing* about work I hate more than discovery.

Bizzaro land

In the bizzaro land of time zones and daylight savings time, I may meet uisgich online again today before I go to bed.

And I might get my whole night's sleep *after* she gets up to see the SM off to Inverness for his Thursday morning breakfast meeting.
