CK: Definitely a genius. But how do I get the big A off his head? (see attached) Eh. You may need different pic format. let me know.
JB: can you resend as a jpeg? or bmp? it came across as .MIC. Try zipping it up if you think that was an error.
CK: Better?
JB: looks good to me. but i don't see an 'a' on his face anywhere.
CK: In the big main pic. There is a big A right on his head!!!! You don't see it!? Oh, sorry ineptitude on my end. Check it now. Wanna get rid of big A on his head. Possible?

Now that I know you are a genius... If you can manage this in 5 minutes or less, I would love your help.

More than 5 minutes, and I feel that I am just starting to be annoying exploitation woman...

Can you get sh16 to be more compositionally compatible with aragornsm. I am putting them together in an icon, and they don't mesh well... If it is something that is easy to explain *how* to do, maybe you could just tell me. I also have some JASC products available to me on the computer at home, if they are any better than the cr*ppy editing programs I have at the office...

Told Mom you were a genius. She said she knew that already! Plus, have told everyone else in the world, including Scotland.

But accidentally sent your story about the animated Return of the King to Scotland, too. Raised a chuckle.

Do you want these two pictures next to each other so that the final image is Rectangular? Or do you want it to remain in a square format? The word "icon" tends to mean a 32x32 graphic ... but then again, you may just be meaning a photo composition which can exist in any format. Are you just looking for similar color pallets and lighting? It will take a bit more than 5 minutes to do (i never do anything that fast) but it will take less than 30.

And yes ... you ARE an annoying exploitative woman ... but you are MY sister and that makes it acceptable.

I am going to make one of my annoying 100x100 pixel icons with these two pictures. They will alternate and I will do some sort of animated segue - fade or dissolve or some such. Also, I need to crop sh16 still. I want to make the "eye line" between the two portraits similar, so that it appears they are looking each other in the eye. That would mean cropping sh16 with Sharpe's head kinda lower in the frame, so he can look up at Aragorn, who is looking kinda down. All THAT I think I can manage on my own.

What I need a pro's help on is getting the pictures to be more compatible together. The look weird juxtaposed. I thought if we could make SH16 more like aragornsm, with that sort of golden wash effect. On the other hand, if that doesn't really work, if we could lose the wash in aragornsm.

What do you think. Any of that gonna work?

If the answer is yes, fab! But hold off starting on it, since you said it was gonna take more than a couple minutes' effort. This is going to be an icon to represent a story I am working on with Uisgich, and I want to be sure she is happy with these two pictures before you put any work in on it at all. I would hate to hit you up for this and have her say, Blech!

JB: This "icon" isn't for some fettish story you are writing is it? :)
