I have, unfortunately, boiled my finger.

My girl-crush was on this afternoon. I was not allowed to watch, as we had already see the show before and the boys were watching Daleks...

Went to Wegman's today. It is not cheaper than Shoppers, though it is very cheap. Beautiful store. Much to please the Small Boy, including a suspended railroad with train, polar bear and penguin displays in the freezer section, and a display of growing plants all over the produce department. He did wrinkle up his nose in the excellent sea food department. Man, cheese and wine out the wazoo. Didn't even go in the bakery - did not need that kind of temptation. However, can't justify shopping there regularly. Shoppers still cheaper.

You boiled your finger?? Ouch!! And how???

So not fair that you can't watch your girl crush! Will say no more on the subject or you may have to lock this entry down ;)

Wegmans sounds excellent. I do like a good food hall! And you should have given in to the temptaion of bread -mmmmmmmmm!!

Had good day with H & M today - will tell you tomorrow if I catch you early? I'll stick AIM on when I get up and keep an eye out for you.

*hugs*

I wanted to save the water from potatoes I boiled to use for potato bread. I filled a little plastic pitcher to the brim and put on its lid. Went to put in fridge. Said lid not very tight. 200 degree water spilled out over left hand. I am proud to say that though I screeched quite loudly "ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, that hurts, that hurts, that hurts" etc., I neither swore in front of Small Boy NOR dropped the water. I set it on the floor before leaping up and jumping around and screeching some more. Spent the next half hour or so with my hand in a bowl of ice water. Much better today.

Hmmm. My beloved grocery store chain is Harris Teeter, though Wegman's could give the old Teeter store a serious run for it's money. If I were spending money...

Where was your Wegman's?

Grr. Proper journal this time:

The one I usually went to (because it was closest) was in Webster, NY (a suburb of Rochester.) But the one that I'd go to if my path ever took me to Fairport was the flagship store.

The mind boggles thinking of the size of the place and all the stuff it has. I was back there over Christmas and, after having not set foot in it for a good year and a half, I was staggered.

*drools, thinking about it*
