Even more frightening, I will have a staff all summer.
Even more frightening than that. My staff may be resolving my accounting problems.
Have been giving CS tips on how to boss his future secretary.
RS has not run screaming.

However, RS is quite concerned about what will happen to the office if I were to, in my example, get hit by a bus. He says, "This office is running on your brain!" [Husband's comment: "We're doomed!"]
Also, he seems to think that we should have some kind of parallel cash and accrual accounting systems. Um. RS is a Finance major at UVA. I said I was certain that The Boss would welcome and want any suggestions RS could make to improve our accounting and bookkeeping system. However, I reminded him that The Boss did not usually look for accounting skills in his paralegal, and that as past experience proves, The Boss is very unlikely to ever have anyone more competent with the bookkeeping than myself, and very, very likely to have someone less competent. Don't want to go around proposing systems that require actual bookkeeping training!
CS came back with his bar exam study materials. I attempted to hold up CS as object lesson to RS about why he did not want to be a lawyer, like them, but an everything else, like me. Doing my best to sell the everything else role, but not sure if I am succeeding or not.
RS does seem quite frightened by my workload and range of responsibilities. He also chided me that my name is nowhere to be found on the website. *Sigh.* I have been meaning to put my resume back up. I wonder if I ever did...
Was bossing CS at the end of the day. My desk looks like a huge truck drove up and dumped a load of files on it. CS was attempting to stamp "copy" on some copies. He was gonna try to use my desk. I said, "That stamp only works on a flat surface! Go back over there!" (indicating copier table across the room). He gave me an amazing shocked/amuzed look, whereupon I commented, "Could I be more imperious! Go, minion, do my bidding!"
Perhaps I will get a chance to try "Damn your impudence, sir," sometime tomorrow! *snortle*
