So, I'm going over to the pantry to grab some sort of breakfast and I look out the window.

"What is that?" I think. My brain can't parse the image at first. Initially, I think it might be that black cat that comes around, but it looks way too big. Then I realize...



So I text the picture to my parents, who are big bird watchers, and Dad suggests, "Maybe a duck"

I text back, "MR Not Ducks."

Further discussion down in NC, and another text comes in: "Black Vulture?"

Sure enough! Internet confirms!

But, then, I look outside again and: "Holy crap!n!!!"



Dad texts back, "Don't stand still for long."

The Barbarian thinks they are nesting and just having "an alaxing day" before laying their egg.

AG33 would like them to have a happy life somewhere else.

UPDATE: And now one of them has flown off - we think the original one.

*sigh* I was thinking late yesterday how awesome they were and how I hoped they would come back. Then my brain said, "You're probably used to them, since you've worked with lawyers so long." My brain is a traitor to my people... :D

I almost fell over laughing when I looked out there about 10 minutes after the last bird flew off and saw that silly cat! :D

Alas, the cat missed them. When that one was just sitting out there, AG33 and I were debating if that crazy cat would be crazy enough to try to hunt it. I said maybe, but it should probably have a long, hard cat-think about it first...

It was just the way the cat's eyes seem to be looking up at the sky, as if staring after two departing vultures, and saying, "WTF?" *g*
