Hating Microsoft today

muck_a_luckSo, another reason I hate Microsoft. I have Vista on this machine. And it uses that windows index thing to search. But it REFUSES to index certain folders. It doesn't matter WHAT I do. It won't index them. It has to be a bug. So it won't index these folders, yet it offers me no otehr way to search these folders. So I do a search on a word that HAS to be in the folder, and I come up with a zero search result.
What happened to the search doggie. He wasn't fast, but he was very effective.
Dear Microsoft, please don't dump working software. Your new software is fucked half the time. Let us at least keep the old stuff that actually worked.
