muck_a_luckI've been shopping this morning, planning to exploit my Mommy. I don't know if I've ever mentioned that she has an embroidery business. I was yoga wear shopping online the other day and finding all these awesome, but way expensive, things with the chaka symbols embroidered on them. I was thinking of buying ONE outfit - because the pants were running $85, and the tanks were $29. But then I thought, HEY! Maybe I can exploit MOM!
She seems to think it would be pretty straightforward, and she also has access to plain yoga wear at wholesale prices. I have only been able to look at one of the catalogs, but there are pants there worth pricing. Also, some perfectly good looking tanks and a couple of possibly OK long-sleeved tees. I have sent her an e-mail with my tentative selections for price quotes, plus a demand to see the other catalog! :D
So depending on what these things actually cost (and how much exploitation Mom will actually put up with), I'm hoping to get a set of all seven chakras in tanks of the approrpiate colors, 3-5 new pairs of yoga pants with all the chakras (I'm thinking silver-dollar sized ones running up the side at the ankle, but have not totally ruled out the possibility of getting them embroidered on the butt (example here) because hey, I like them and nobody will see them but me, anyway, so who cares if it's a little slutty), and then maybe even toss in a couple of long-sleeved tees, as fall is coming and it's nice to have somthing to wear on the weekends.
*rubs hands with glee and anticipation*
I suppose if this all works out I can put up pictures of what gets produced. Maybe Mom can price them for retail sale to my little friends if people love them and we can start a little side business for her. Or Mom might flip me off when I suggest that. Or the whole plan might fall through. Still. Amusing myself. :D
