My very exciting weekend

muck_a_luckFriday night: Yoga Shakti: Solar Flow II. This made me remember that I thought these arm balances might be achievable, if I put my mind to it. Otherwise, however, was really too tired to be attempting this much yoga, almost made myself throw up. Went to bed feeling kinda queasy. Woke up approx 2 hours later because of Barbarian. Brought her to bed with me, went back to sleep.
Saturday: Errands in record time. Bertucci's. Got a salad, too! Mmmmm. Salad! Took kids to pool. We've been doing that around 5:30, which is fab because I don't need to put sunscreen on three people, which gets us right out the door instead of creating departure drama.
Sunday: Laundry. The Sunday errands. Went to library. Returned old yoga DVDs. Got some new ones. Stopped at Dairy Queen on way back. Locked my keys in the car. (Dammit, I was just thinking how long it had been since I had done that!) Luckily, realized it *before* I bought any ice cream. (In fact, realized it instantly. Like, click and Where's my keys?! were simultaneous. Dammit.) Ducked into Safeway. Called a cab. Programmed cab company number into phone while waiting. Cab arrived approx 5 minutes later. Zoomed the 5 minute trip home. Zoomed back with Husband's keys. Got ice cream. Took groceries home (from the Sunday errands I was doing, remember?) Luckily I had packed the fozen items in a cooler bag with two ice packs. The popsicles I got for The Barbarian didn't even melt! Went to pool. Washed The Barbarian. Put her to bed. Did some yoga.
Monday AM: Made scones. Mmmmm. Scones. I split the batch. Half cherries and white chocolate. Half butterscotch. Cherries too tart. I think I should have chopped them. But v. mmmmmm. They came out of the oven at approx 5am, plenty of time for Husband to have one before work. I bet the kids snub them.

I love the little keycode feature on my truck that allows me to NOT lock myself out. 'Cause, you know, I'd do it! With the ice cream inside!
