It is Saturday afternoon...

...and I stupidly answered the phone when it rang.
It was the building management for work. Apparently, the small, non-functional-for-a-year water heater under the kitchen sink burst. It flooded the entire suite under an inch or so of water.
*sigh*
They were calling me because I stupidly filled out a form. They seem to have me down for everything. They called me when there was some sort of issue with the rent check. They have called me about insurance issues. Today, they called me because Cellmate's Boss' office was locked and the emergency flood cleanup crew couldn't get in there. She had already called Cellmate's Boss' number and had to leave a message. Then she called me because I was the second emergency contact on the list.
*sigh*
So I called MY Boss, to see if he had personal numbers for Cellmate's Boss in his database. But of course Boss' phone went to voice mail.
Then I called Cellmate, who is enjoying a long weekend in Myrtle Beach. She was ALSO stupid, like me, answering her phone on Saturday. She gave me her Boss' cell and home numbers. I had to leave a message on his cell, then called his home and got his wife. SHE said she wasn't sure she could reach him, but she would try.
*sigh*
I called the building management woman back and said, well, I called Cellmate, she's in Myrtle Beach, I called Cellmate's Boss' wife, she said she wasn't sure she could reach him. That's all I can do. Management woman, who I really, really dislike because she is a total bubble brain, said, well, it might be good of a representative of the office came over, just to look at the situation. But it would be great if someone could come over and unlike the office.
*sigh*
I said, "I would love to be able to magic wand it open for you, but unfortunately, I can't."
Yes. That is a quote.
So. Now, I am having a very unhappy feeling about going to work on Monday. Also, it must be hormone day, because I'm also having anxiety about all the recent earthquake activity around Yellowstone, and that program on Discovery today about the giant meteors striking earth totally spazzed me out. Still, no extreme anger or depression, just mild anxiety, so maybe the exercise is paying off. Or maybe this is just day one.
