Miscellaneous thoughts at the end of the day

Voted in the primary today, with the help of The Small Boy.

Bus problems this morning due to sick-in. Hoping that there will be no problem tomorrow. The Husband took a working bus to the office and we drove home from there. He broke his streak of not meeting my bosses! He met *both* The Boss and The Cellmate, not to mention Carmen and Jerry.

Got bagels. Car door alarm on the fritz again. Husband picked up the new Xena and the second season of FarScape.

Not much else to report. Bedtime.

Oooh! Farscape!! Are you into that, cos it's one of my all time favs, along with Buffy/Angel. Got Season 2 myself in November, but haven't had a chance to watch it yet.

Gonna catch up on last nights posts, then offline for the rest of the day. Back on tonight. RL sucks :(

Farscape

Husband ordered Farscape 1, but hasn't received it yet, much less watched. However, saw Farscape 2 for fab price when buying Xena, so thought he'd grab it, and if he doesn't like Season 1, can always return Season 2 later.

Farscape season One took a little time to get into it's stride. It had some good episodes and ideas, but needed to find it's feet.

As soon as Crichton puts on the black leather Peacekeeper uniform, it takes off like a rocket!! And not just because Ben Browder looks so much better in black than beige, it just seems that that is the point everything comes together.

So tell the Husband to stick with it. We watched the first episode, and thought nah, not up to much, then I caught a later one, and was totally hooked. Was utterly distraught when I came back from holiday in Sept 2002 to find it had been pulled. The end of season 4 is the biggest cliff-hanger ever, and they left it there!

I have heard that they are making a mini-series with all the original cast to finish off the story, and am looking forward to it, but to think Star Trek plods on and on and on and on ... and something this fresh was taken off!!
