muck_a_luckI washed my hair in the tub again this morning.
Have left a very strongly worded message on the realty agent's machine, finishing with an invitation for them to call me and tell me their strategy to be sure that I have a working shower tomorrow morning.
In the grand scheme of things, I know it's a small inconvenience. But I hate taking baths, and I hate going without being clean. It's difficult enough for me these days that I'm more or less always showering in the morning now. No shower at all is very irritating.

Date: 2004-01-27 04:24 pm (UTC)Our shower has been broken for months, and I hate washing my hair in the bath too! SM has a handful of washers that will, aparently do the trick, but not the time to fix it. The only plumber in the area is known as Barry the Bum, due to his insistance on wearing loose jeans that show a little more than you really want to see when he bends over! And he's a big guy :(
Note to self: Force SM into the bathroom with his handful of washers before he is allowed out walking at the weekend!

Date: 2004-01-27 05:59 pm (UTC)If I were you, I'd put the washers and tool box in the bathroom, and the next time he goes in for *any* reason, bar the door and refuse to let him out til it's fixed!
Heck, after months, Barry the Bum could fix my shower *naked* and I would watch him like he was an oiled up SB! *snortle*
Ha! My completely irrational message to the realtor this morning resulted in a call from the plumber. He *was* scheduled to come Thursday morning. Is now thinking he will come *this afternoon!* Go me!
