No sense of humor day
I'm having a no sense of humor day.
One friend posted a really funny joke about her lawyer boss. A joke about HIM.
This has prompted a bunch of responsive, and extremely tired, "lawyer" jokes about golf and long lunches and they are not funny, just stupid. I don't know any lawyers personally who play golf, except the one guy who never has time, because he is up to his eyeballs in work and can't get away. And long lunches. Ha. I laugh. In mockery at the ignorance of the person making the "joke."
I think, actually, I don't laugh because the jokes just aren't funny.
It's similar to my problems watching legal stuff on TV. Everybody's always signing "papers" in their divorces. This happened on House this week. He signed ONE sheet. I would have loved to see what was on that critical one page.
Dude. Srsly. Nobody signs "papers" in a divorce.
Husband is even worse, watching legal shows. We are mostly pretty good at just rolling our eyes and letting it all go by. But I can't imagine how tedious House must be for a DOCTOR to watch.
