Dammit! My state is NOT exothermic! You're state is endothermic!

I'm freaking out here, people! I am from Dixie! Perhaps not the deep, dark heart of Dixie, but the Carolinas are Dixie-proper, and my natural state beginning about May 5 and running through til about October 3 is 92 degrees and 98% humidity.

I need the summer to recharge my cheerfulness batteries.

It was 61 degrees and raining this morning when I got in the car.

I ran the heat on the way to the office.

I got dressed in denial this morning, trying to will summer to come. Light khaki pants. Short-sleeved tee. Birks (with socks, ha!).

Was forced to put on a fleece before leaving the house and now have cold fingers and cold damp nose.

Well hon, it'll be a grand day here in Raleigh...mid-70s. Come Monday, we'll be in the 90s. *whines* You can keep your 90s...I LIKE mid-70s and rainy!

It's finally summer here. It was a glorious 92 on Monday. I was in heaven! :)

And mid-70s and rainy is great! I live for that. September through November.
