Encounters with the day care, 1/?
Jul. 21st, 2006 01:05 pmI have learned a lesson about Little Sister's new day care. Do not leave messages. *rolls eyes*
Yesterday, I called to be sure they wouldn't freak out on me about the rotavirus vaccine and the person I talked to acted like she had never heard of rotavirus and sounded all worried and said someone would call me back ASAP..
So we got the vaccine today and the nurse gave us some info that I drove over there. We went in, said hey to the director, handed off the info sheets and she was totally blase about it and apprently they have rotavirus info posted all over the baby rooms and of course it's not a problem see us next week! *rolls eyes so hard they fall out*
Do dude. Why no call back ASAP?
This follows the incident where I called them after she was born to set the date she would start attending. I talked to a guy, and he said someone would call back. No one called back, so I called again, and got a woman who took down all the information. Then, a week later, the director calls to find out if we are planning on attending or not. She, of course, had no information on file and had no idea that I had ever called. *headdesk*
While all my in person interaction with them has been lovely, and I continue to be impressed by the facility, this telephone ineptitude makes me slightly concerned. Must check to be sure we are on the wait list still for the other place, in case of emergencies.
